New Manager, Hearst Campus
Collège Boréal is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Ricky-Ann Dagenais Dorval as the new Manager of the Hearst campus, effective August 5, 2010.
Holder of a Bachelor of Education degree from Laurentian University, in Sudbury, Ms. Dagenais Dorval has held a number of positions in management, coordination and teaching in the Hearst area, during the last 15 years. She is presently a Substance Abuse Counsellor at the Service de toxicomanie Cochrane-Nord, in Hearst. Previously, she was Coordinator of the Salon du livre de Hearst (Hearst book fair) in 2006-2007, and Executive Director of the Centre de consultation pour l’embauche des jeunes, in Hearst, from 1998 to 2006. Ricky-Ann Dagenais Dorval has a long-standing association with Collège Boréal in Hearst, having worked as a placement supervisor, human services professor and college life advisor.
At the community level, Ricky-Ann Dagenais Dorval is vice-chair of the school council at école St-Louis. She has contributed immensely to youth development, namely in her involvement with sports teams, summer camps and musical productions.
